Members of Macau Institute of Management (MIM) Student Union paid a visit to the National Security Education Exhibition on 15th May, 2021. Jointly organized by the Macau SAR Government and the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao SAR, the exhibition aims to boost awareness on the development and achievements regarding national security while strengthening national recognition and patriotism among the participants.
The group learnt about the current national security situation through the tour of the exhibition, which is divided into four sections - “National security under unprecedented change in a century”, “Adhering to comprehensive national security concept and constructing security strategy”, “Upholding national security and ensuring sustainability of the ‘One Country, Two System’ Policy” and “Responsibility to safeguard national security should be taken by all Chinese people”. Meanwhile, the exhibition showcases China’s complete victory in the battle against poverty while celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC).
Among the attendees were Dr.Tong Kai Chung , President of MIM, Ieong Hong Wai and Chau Ka Lai, President and Chairman of MIM student union respectively and their family members.
Upholding the patriotism for the motherland and for Macau and being dedicated to cultivating elites for the SAR and the country, MIM holds regular seminars and courses for students on “One Country, Two System” Policy, Basic Law and etc., so that they can learn more about the core value of the patriotism, foster national recognition and sense of belonging to the country.
